Nazish S. Islahi, MD, FAAFP
Dr. Islahi is board certified in Family Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is also an adjunct assistant professor at Texas A&M Medical school and is active in teaching and mentoring medical students. She obtained her medical degree and completed her residency from U.T Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Chemistry with honors from Southern Methodist University.
Dr. Islahi has been practicing medicine for over twenty years and has served on the Executive Committee of a thriving medical practice for several years while simultaneously serving as the director of the clinic. She enjoys identifying and treating a wide variety of acute and chronic medical conditions while focusing on the prevention of disease on an individual basis.
The cornerstones of her practice emphasize quality patient care while still providing patient comfort. She loves taking care of multiple generations of families and in the process developing long term relationships with her patients.
She and her husband have two sons. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading classical literature, and world history.
Dr. Islahi will be starting at this practice in January 2020.
